Are you looking for an introduction course to get your career in aquatics started? Do you love bodywork and looking for that extra edge to take your work to a deeper level? Are you a body-worker and feel that there is something more you want to learn?
Then look no further – Watsu® 1 is the place to start!Using warm water as support (as opposed to a bed, plinth or floor) the body is invited to explore a 3 dimensional unwinding dance of stretches, slow rhythmic movements and moments of stillness.
YOUR TEACHERS:
Adéle Pudney, from South Africa, will be co-teaching with Mary Seamster in October 2019 in the USA. Adéle is a registered South African physical therapist and is currently completing her Watsu® 1 Instructor’s training. She has a huge passion for teaching self-regulation and self-healing and uses water therapy & especially Watsu®. She is a trained Reflexologist & HeartMath® Coach. Adéle brings all the elements she learned in a wide variety of different courses together to help clients achieve their highest level of function.
Mary Seamster has dedicated her life exploring the correlation and interaction between mind, body and spirit. In her Water classes she incorporates her years of study in: martial arts, massage, energetic healing, Hakomi practice, group dynamics and Pre and Perinatal Psychology. Mary has been teaching Watsu® for 17 years and her passion for the work shines through in her compassionate, fun and warm teaching style.
White Stone is nestled in a secluded intimate setting surrounded by the foothills of MT. St. Helens and easily accessible via a 35 min drive to PDX (Portland Airport). The pool, a 24-foot in the ground round pool, is housed in a professional, therapeutic setting with all the facilities one needs. ON SITE ACCOMMODATION IS INCLUDED IN YOUR COURSE INVESTMENT.
